Opened in 1999, D.O.M. was the first Brazilian restaurant to be awarded two Michelin stars. Ten years later, Dalva e Dito, a restaurant of emotional cuisine and mix of Brazilian flavors, was born. It has already received one Michelin star. Next to Dalva e Dito, there is Mercadinho Dalvo e Dito, a mix of grocery store, rotisserie and cafe. The youngest hit, Bio – Comer Saudável, opened in May 2017 and has its menu focused on sustainable food.

With its 20-year existence, D.O.M. remains faithful to its original proposal of dedicating itself to a limited number of clients, to celebrating special occasions and to honoring national ingredients.

Since January 2015, D.O.M. serves only tasting menus (4 courses, 8 courses and Plant Kingdom), which enable the customer to taste a variety of dishes in smaller portions. The tasting menu highlights the unique cuisine and the creative dining experience developed by chef Alex Atala.

Also in 2015, year of the first Brazilian Michelin Guide, D.O.M. was the first Brazilian restaurant to be awarded two stars.

Since 2006 D.O.M. has been in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants ranking list, always as the best restaurant in Brazil.

Dalva e Dito, inaugurated in January 2009, aims the emotional cuisine and materializes Atala’s personal aspiration of offering Brazilian cuisine on international level with avant-garde techniques. In 2013, Dalva e Dito was awarded best Brazilian restaurant by Veja São Paulo Comer e Beber Magazine and in 2018, for the third consecutive year, the restaurant was awarded one Michelin star.

The restaurant mixes Colonial Brazil references in its modern food and technology through the broad and glazed kitchen. “The mission statement of Dalva e Dito is to execute a Brazilian soul cooking using the most advanced techniques available”, says chef Alex Atala.

"We need to rethink our relationship with food”. This is chef Alex Atala’s motto that grew into a restaurant: Bio - Comer Saudável. The restaurant is the newest addition to the D.O.M. Group and its cornerstones are applying the social movement of “farm to table”, consuming from local producers, eating organics (whenever possible) and valuing the "Brazilianity". The customers can experience all these ideas on the plate and be overwhelmed by some recipes.

Bio - Comer Saudável, located in the south of São Paulo city (Itaim Bibi), is a partnership among chef Alex Atala, Eduardo, Ricardo and Maurício Landim.
